“Oud oil” is made out of the resin called Agarwood. Agarwood resin is distilled to create Oud oil, which is an essential ingredient in high-end perfumes such as Armani Privé’s OudRoyal and Yves Saint Laurent’s Oud Absolu. Perfumes or colognes made out of Oud are so expensive it’s often described as ‘liquid gold’. Both Black Oud and White Ouds are similarly popular to those who know this fragrance and its’ history. To us, Black Oud is a little more pungent than the White Oud. White Oud has a sweeter, resinous scent while Black Oud has a woody scent of masculinity attached to it.
